what is body positive fitness?

After working in the fitness industry and chasing it myself, I've grown (no pun intended ;) ) to realize there isn't one ideal size or body that we should be striving for. I want to teach people to be happy with what they have and encourage them to workout to be stronger, faster, more energetic, and more. Body positivity is truly believing that all bodies are good bodies, one is not better than the next. I am a firm believer in Health at Every Size, and I want to teach clients what that means. Exercise is great for so many reasons, but when we are stuck on the reason of changing our appearance or size — it loses its joy. I want people to find joy in exercise.
